Dr. Rebecca Conway grew up on the east coast of Canada. She attended the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in agriculture with a major in animal science. She then attended the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island, graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012. She began her career as a small animal practitioner here in the Salt Lake Valley after graduation.
Dr. Conway grew up with horses, dogs and cats and her love of veterinary medicine started at an early age. Prior to veterinary school she enjoyed spending time with large, small and mixed animal veterinary practitioners. During her undergraduate and veterinary degrees, she was involved in research projects involving mink, dairy cattle and horses.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a veterinarian, and their Miniature German Schnauzer, Nigel, their Irish Wolfhound, Penny, and their cat, Horton. Dr. Conway also enjoys hiking, traveling, photography, reading, gardening & staying physically active.
As a small animal practitioner, Dr. Conway’s special interests include dentistry, dermatology and soft-tissue surgery. Dr. Conway always looks forward to providing your pets with the same compassion and care she gives her own.
